She also scratched me for the first time by accident yesterday because she wanted to guide my arm to her body so I can pet her some more... Her nails were razor sharp. Then I bubbled up around the cut. She's very affectionate and meows for attention to be petted.

Ohno! I hope it was a one time thing... Did she eat a questionable house plant or something? Let me know if it continues.
Sorry about the scratch! I have cat nail trimmers if you want to borrow them and try to take the sharp points off.
Better yet, she is due for her booster shots soon, isn't she?
Ask the vet to trim her nails when she is there.
